The published articles in JEES: Journal of Education and Educational Sciences, Volume 2, Number 2 (2026) consist of 6 collaborative (co-authored) articles authored by scholars from Institut Prima Bangsa, Institut Agama Islam Negeri Kendari, Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon, Universitas Bengkulu, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, and Universitas Pamulang. This issue highlights studies on students’ English language performance, social responsibility, the integration of religion and science, and the implementation of innovative learning models in elementary education, including the roles of interest and grit, instrument validation, higher-order thinking skills, self-efficacy, learning independence, mathematical spatial ability, literacy, and numeracy skills.
The published articles in JEES: Journal of Education and Educational Sciences, Volume 2, Number 1 (2025) consist of 5 collaborative (co-authored) articles authored by scholars from Institut Prima Bangsa. This issue highlights studies on learning engagement, literacy skills, psychological and behavioral factors, and instrument validation in educational contexts, including predictors of academic performance and writing interest, reading ability and difficulties, structural modeling of learning processes, the roles of self-regulated learning and collaboration in English listening, and validation of the Child Feeding Questionnaire related to parental feeding practices and childhood obesity.

This issue focuses on psychological and affective factors in education, including the roles of self-regulated learning and self-efficacy in reducing English language anxiety, resilience and self-control in shaping elementary students’ social skills, emotional intelligence in the learning process, parental involvement and independent learning in academic achievement, and the influence of self-regulated learning and epistemological beliefs on English proficiency, emphasizing the importance of internal capacities and supportive environments in enhancing student outcomes.

This issue discusses language and media analysis in digital contexts, evaluation of YouTube-based audio materials for blind students, the role of special education for children with intellectual disabilities, the implementation of augmented reality in improving mathematics problem-solving skills, and the role of teachers as motivators in fostering discipline among students with special needs. Overall, the issue highlights inclusive education practices, innovative learning media, and discourse analysis in contemporary educational settings.
