JEES grants full copyright to the author of any published scientific work. Authors are not obligated to transfer copyright, thereby enabling the scientific community to access content at no cost and immediately following online publication.

It is the prerogative of the authors to exclusively grant first publication rights and dissemination rights to JEES. Consequently, authorship of a work remains under their exclusive purview.

The articles disseminated through JEES are governed by a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, a permissive license that enables third parties to distribute, modify, or develop the work, including for commercial purposes, provided that proper attribution to the original author is acknowledged.
