Focus and Scope

JEES: Journal of Education and Educational Sciences is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that focuses on publishing empirical research and theoretical studies in the broad field of education and educational sciences. The journal provides a scholarly forum for advancing educational knowledge by examining contemporary issues, concepts, and developments in educational theory and practice at both regional and international levels. 

The scope of JEES includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: 

  1. Educational Theory and Foundations: studies on philosophical, psychological, sociological, and theoretical foundations of education. 
  2. Teaching and Learning Studies: research on learning processes, instructional strategies, assessment, and educational practices across educational contexts. 
  3. Curriculum and Instruction: studies addressing curriculum design, implementation, evaluation, and instructional development. 
  4. Educational Management and Leadership: research on educational leadership, administration, policy, and institutional management. 
  5. Educational Evaluation and Assessment: studies focusing on evaluation systems, measurement, and assessment in education. 
  6. Teacher Education and Professional Practice: research on teacher preparation, professional development, and pedagogical competence. 
  7. Educational Issues and Policy Studies: analyses of current educational issues, reforms, and policies at local, national, and global levels. 
  8. Interdisciplinary Studies in Educational Sciences: research integrating education with related disciplines that contribute to the development of educational sciences. 

All manuscripts submitted to JEES must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Submissions undergo an initial editorial evaluation followed by an anonymous peer review process. Manuscripts that do not align with the journal’s focus and scope or fail to meet the author’s guidelines may be rejected prior to the review process.
