Post-decision Procedure

At the end of the editorial review process, the editor ascertains the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript for publication, relying on internal evaluations and reviewer feedback. The final decision is tracked through the online submission system and communicated to corresponding authors through official email.

Accepted manuscripts: Following acceptance of the manuscript for publication, the article and supporting documents will be forwarded to the production editor for subsequent processing. If an article processing charge exists, the corresponding author will be notified to complete the payment. Upon confirmation of payment or in the absence of a publication fee, the production team will generate the initial version of the galley proof. Once the proof is completed, the file will be dispatched to the author for evaluation. During the styling process, minor modifications may be implemented, such as resizing the photos to accommodate the journal template. 

Authors may be required to submit higher-resolution pictures if deemed appropriate. Authors submit corrections or approve the proof through the online platform. If further modifications are necessary, a revised proof will be generated and resubmitted. Articles are slated for publication upon the author's and production editor's approval of the proofs. Upon publishing, the completed document includes the volume number, issue number, article number, and DOI. Authors will be notified via email upon the online publication of the paper.

Rejected manuscripts: Authors may receive alternative suggestions for suitable journals; however, these recommendations do not ensure acceptance. Authors who contest the editorial judgment may submit a formal objection by providing an explanation of the situation to mirejournal@gmail.com.
