Focus and Scope

MIREJ: Multidisciplinary Innovation Research Journal is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that focuses on publishing multidisciplinary research and conceptual studies that contribute to innovation and knowledge development across diverse fields of study. The journal provides a scholarly platform for disseminating original research findings and integrative ideas that draw on perspectives, methods, or approaches from multiple disciplines. 

The scope of MIREJ includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: 

  1. Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary Research: research integrating theories, methods, or perspectives from two or more disciplines. 
  2. Conceptual and Theoretical Contributions: studies developing, refining, or critically examining conceptual frameworks and theories across research fields. 
  3. Innovation and Novel Approaches: research focusing on innovative ideas, models, or solutions addressing complex problems. 
  4. Applied and Practice-Oriented Research: studies reporting empirical findings with practical, technological, or policy implications. 
  5. Methodological Development and Research Design: research discussing methodological approaches, research designs, and analytical techniques for multidisciplinary inquiry. 
  6. Technology and Innovation Studies: research examining the role of technology in driving innovation across disciplines. 
  7. Contemporary and Emerging Issues: studies addressing current and emerging issues relevant to multiple fields of study. 
  8. Knowledge Integration and Cross-Disciplinary Perspectives: research emphasizing synthesis, integration, and collaboration across disciplinary boundaries. 

MIREJ accepts original, research-driven, and conceptual articles that have not been previously published and are not under consideration elsewhere. All submissions undergo an initial editorial evaluation followed by an anonymous peer review process. Manuscripts that do not align with the journal’s focus and scope or fail to comply with the author’s’s guidelines may be rejected prior to the review process.
