Peer Review Policy

MIREJ employs a anonymous peer review process that maintains the confidentiality of both reviewers and authors. The editorial team will assign manuscripts that successfully undergo the initial review to section editors, who will thereafter invite reviewers to assess the manuscript's originality and quality. The anonymous peer review procedure is a crucial mechanism for ensuring the high quality of research by offering constructive feedback to authors. The review results assist the editor to determine a manuscript's eligibility for publication. All reviewers are urged to adhere to the review guidelines established by the journal. Each article is assessed by a minimum of two expert reviewers before the editor's decision.

All editors, reviewers, and authors are required to comply with ethical principles established by MIREJ to ensure the seamless operation of the anonymous peer review process. If a reviewer has a conflict of interest that could potentially compromise the objectivity of the evaluation, it could be due to financial relationships, academic beliefs, personal relationships, or professional competition. The reviewer must promptly notify the editor and decline the review invitation. Reviewers are forbidden from revealing any portion or the entirety of the manuscript's content to any entity. The manuscript handling process must be conducted objectively and in a timely manner. The overall editorial process, from initial submission to acceptance, is targeted to be completed within 32 days. Following acceptance, the manuscript will be published within 52 days, subject to the completion of final editorial and production procedures.
