LEOTECH: Journal of Learning Education and Technology is dedicated to providing quick and equitable editorial decisions through a constructive and informative review process. We view editorial autonomy as a crucial element in our objective to disseminate scientific publications of the highest quality. In this journal, editors possess complete authority over the selection of papers deemed suitable for publishing. All published articles, except editorial manuscripts, undergo a stringent anonymous peer review process.
All submitted manuscripts must adhere to the following standards:
All submitted manuscripts are getting initial screening by the editorial office and the editor-in-chief to verify compliance with the aforementioned criteria. At this juncture, the manuscript may be returned to the author for correction or rejected without further evaluation. Manuscripts that successfully undergo the initial screening will be assigned to section editors tasked with managing all further phases of the editorial process. Section editors are appointed according to their expertise and suitability for the manuscript's subject matter. The section editor thereafter solicits external anonymous peer reviewers to assess the manuscript's originality and quality. All reviewers are encouraged to adhere to the review guidelines established by LEOTECH. The section editor will make the final editorial decision about the manuscript's acceptance based on the reviews of at least two expert reviewers. In case of a conflict of interest, an alternate section editor or peer reviewer must be appointed. The section editor will render the ultimate editorial decision on the manuscript's acceptance based on the reviews of a minimum of two reviewers. In cases of a conflict of interest, a section editor or an alternative reviewer must be appointed.
Special Issues: LEOTECH may publish special issues that focus on current topics and challenges across various scientific disciplines, reflecting the journal’s commitment to fostering innovation. The Editor-in-Chief, in collaboration with the editorial board, determines the subjects of special issues based on their relevance, urgency, and alignment with the journal’s aims and scope.
Manuscripts submitted for special issues undergo the same rigorous anonymous peer review process as standard submissions. Editors, reviewers, and authors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest, which will be managed in accordance with COPE flowcharts and guidelines.
Authors who are dissatisfied with the editorial process or decision may submit a formal complaint or appeal to the LEOTECH ethical team via the journal’s official email. All complaints or appeals will be carefully reviewed following COPE flowcharts and guidelines.
