Focus and Scope

GENFABET: Generasi Pendidikan Dasar is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that focuses on scholarly research in elementary education. The journal promotes scientific discussion on contemporary issues and supports the application of research findings to improve teaching and learning practices in elementary schools. GENFABET publishes original empirical and theoretical studies that contribute to educational theory, pedagogical practice, and innovation in elementary education.

The scope of GENFABET includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:

  1. Teaching and Learning Processes: instructional strategies, classroom practices, assessment, and student engagement in elementary schools.
  2. Learning Innovation and Pedagogical Models: innovative learning approaches, instructional designs, and pedagogical models in elementary education.
  3. Curriculum Development and Evaluation: curriculum design, implementation, evaluation, and assessment systems in elementary education.
  4. Child Development and Educational Psychology: cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral development of elementary school students and its implications for learning.
  5. Educational Technology and Digital Learning: integration, effectiveness, and impact of digital technologies, ICT, and learning media in elementary education.
  6. Inclusive and Special Needs Education: research on inclusive practices, differentiated instruction, and learning support for students with special educational needs.
  7. Educational Policy, Leadership, and School Management: educational policies, school leadership, and management practices affecting the quality of elementary education.

GENFABET accepts original research and conceptual articles that have not been previously published and are not under consideration elsewhere. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial evaluation followed by an anonymous peer review process. Manuscripts that fall outside the journal’s focus and scope or do not comply with the author’s guidelines may be rejected prior to the review process.
