Copyright Notice

MATCHA: Journal of Modern Approaches to Communication, Humanities, and Academia allows authors to retain full copyright and publishing rights without any restrictions.

MATCHA supports the use of a CC-BY license or an equivalent, as the ideal option for the publication, distribution, and reuse of scholarly work.

In setting its strategy, MATCHA prioritizes free access over paid access, with a preference for libre access under a CC-BY license over more restrictive open licenses. It emphasizes achieving free access when possible but aims for libre access whenever feasible.

MATCHA operates under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.

Authors who publish in MATCHA agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication, with the work licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license. This allows others to share the work with appropriate credit to the authors and original publication in the journal.
  2. Authors can enter separate agreements for non-exclusive distribution of the published version (e.g., recognition of its original publication in this journal).
  3. Authors are encouraged to share their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on personal websites) before and during the submission process, as this can lead to productive exchanges and increase citation opportunities.
