Focus and Scope

DUTIES: Education and Humanities International Journal is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that focuses on publishing original, high-quality research articles and scholarly work in the broad fields of education and the humanities. The journal focuses on providing a platform for educators, researchers, and practitioners to engage in critical dialogue and share insights that contribute to the development of teaching, learning, and humanistic studies in diverse contexts.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:

  1. Teaching Methodologies: studies addressing approaches and methods used in teaching and learning processes.
  2. Curriculum Development and Instructional Strategies: research on curriculum design, instructional planning, and classroom implementation.
  3. Assessment, Evaluation, and Education Policy: studies examining learning assessment, evaluation systems, and educational policy.
  4. Digital and Inclusive Education: research on digital learning practices and inclusive educational approaches.
  5. Pedagogical Innovations: explorations of novel, interdisciplinary, and learner-centered approaches to teaching and learning.
  6. Humanities Studies: research in literary criticism and analysis, linguistics, philosophy, cultural and cross-cultural studies, and ethics.
  7. Interdisciplinary Research in Education and Humanities: studies that bridge education with the humanities or integrate multiple disciplines.
  8. Global and Diverse Research Perspectives: scholarly works reflecting diverse research approaches, theoretical frameworks, and cultural contexts.

All manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Submissions undergo an initial editorial evaluation followed by an anonymous peer review process. Manuscripts that do not align with the journal’s focus and scope or fail to comply with the author guidelines may be rejected prior to the review process.
